I actually was quite inspired by Sandy Chilewich and especially the arc of her career. I am also an entrepreneur and just closed a business, Superdeluxe, and many of her comments resonated with me. I understood many of her issues when she spoke of taking something to market, capital needs and how she deals with ditribution (Georgia, for example). I am new to these meetups and I am hooked and can't wait for September's meetup! Adrienne
    •  Wonderful, wonderful. Such a great presentation by Sandy - She's real, smart and a great role model. Thank you for having this inspirational and fascinating woman!!! I am so grateful for what you're doing! Phyllis Howe
    •  This meetup was informative, inspiring and entertaining. It was my first time and I loved the question and answer format. Sandy Chilewich was phenomenal. I am looking forward to September's meetup date.
    •  It was fun and informative. I liked the seating, food, drinks but especially the talk!
    •  knoll is such a beautiful space and sandy was so interesting, dynamic and inspirational! great event :)
    •  so glad i finally motivated for a meetup! sandy and i were neighbors at a tradeshow a few years back. i'm a jewelry designer with a wicked DIY streak (i'm just about to gut my kitchen) so imagine my glee upon hearing sandy explain how she got started...jewels, bloomingdales, maryjanes, grace mirabella, tights, vats of dye, HUE, selling her company...absolutely brilliant! the main thoughts i took away were to always be inspired, stay experimental and that it really doesn't matter how winding your road is, as long as you stay true to your design philosopy. keep your product evolving and focus on longevity. the AT team was super-friendly as well with the crowd. i was happy to see the snacks! the locations was pretty spectacular, too. my gaze kept drifting over to the terrace behind maxwell + sandy and i was wondering who lived where the laterns were blowing in the breeze. well done AT. ;-)

This was a fantastic meetup. Sandy Chilewich was hilarious and unpretentious. I had no idea she started Hue hosiery before last nights meet up.

It was a really good experience. I don't know much about Chilewich but wanted to come to find out. The story from Hue to Chilewich was inspiring. The Moderator was quite funny too. I'll attend the next event in Sept. if i'm free.
    •  I love Sandy Chilewich, her designs are always innovative, new, fresh, clean and advance.... She is also very inspirational.
    •  Rocked!
    •  Max leads a casual good interview - and of course Sandy tells a great story with very valuable business insights. A terrific choice for the new and seasoned audience

this was my favorite one by far, sandy chilewich was a lot of fun to listen to, very enjoyable!
    •  It was great - but I am with Chilewich so I knew I would enjoy it before I went
    •  Very well organized and entertaining.
    •  After working with Sandy Chilewich for several years and closely enjoying the brillance of her ability to create product, it was delightful to hear her discuss her whole story. I believe it would have been such for those who didn't know her as closely as I do. I have always delighted being on her team.
