This one will be our Launch MeetUp and will conincide with the first night of the ICFF 2007 Weekend in May.

On the 1st Thursday each month at 7PM, 6 people get 5 minutes each to demo something cool to New York's product and furniture design community (product and furniture designers, architects, entrepreneurs, students, hackers, etc)

ATTENTION: If you are interested in presenting your design at the meetup, please email your idea with all information to

6 presenters will be chosen in advance and you will be notified. We will have a digital projector on hand for wall projection, but you'll need to bring everything else.

  “ I would prefer to use the presentations as an opportunity to access the expertise of a room full of designers and to inspire creative discussion. The current mode is really just self promotion and this is fine, in fact, it's necessary. But better promotion will result from creative interaction where people's skills will be more evident. Also, it would help if people had name tags (tacky, I know, but useful) and an opportunity to talk afterwards. ”
